1. Who We Are

2. Our Core Privacy Principle

All mortgage and loan calculations happen entirely in your browser. No loan amounts, interest rates, repayment figures or personal financial data are ever transmitted to or stored on our servers. LensOnLoan is private by design.

3. What Data We Collect

• Location (country-level only) — we call the ipapi.co API using your IP address to determine your country, so we can pre-select the appropriate regional defaults and currency. We do not store your IP address or location.
• Region preference — if you manually select a region, that preference is held in memory for your session only. It is not logged or stored.
• Cookie consent — your advertising consent preference is stored in browser localStorage only and never transmitted.
• Advertising — we use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may set cookies and collect data in accordance with their own privacy policies. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Standard server logs — our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically records basic access data such as IP addresses and pages visited for security and operational purposes, per Netlify's own data retention policies.

4. Google AdSense & Cookies

LensOnLoan displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies based on your prior browsing history to serve relevant ads. You can opt out at Google Ad Settings or via the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool.

Users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland will be shown a consent banner before personalised ads are activated, in compliance with GDPR and UK GDPR.

5. Third-Party Services

• ipapi.co — country-level geolocation from IP address (read-only, not stored by us)
• rss2json.com — RSS-to-JSON proxy for regional finance news feeds
• Google AdSense — display advertising
• Google Fonts — Syne typeface loaded from Google's CDN
• Public RSS feeds — BBC Business, ABC Australia, RBA, and others per your selected region

6. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and, where applicable, the GDPR, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal data we hold about you.

Because LensOnLoan collects no personally identifiable financial data, there is typically nothing beyond standard hosting logs to action. To request data deletion or for any other privacy enquiry, contact us at hello@edge4ward.com.au.

7. Children's Privacy

LensOnLoan is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

LensOnLoan provides calculations for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice. Edge4ward Pty Ltd does not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL). Always seek professional advice before making mortgage or loan decisions.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of LensOnLoan after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
